A Circuit Series Debate

PR can sometimes have a bad reputation, being accused of 'Spin' and misinforming the public. Journalists often complain about the masses of generalised press releases they receive.  Yet there seems to be a lot of people starting up PR agencies, possibly attracted by the parties and lifestyle – could this be reason for the spread of poor practice?

As a business, is it worth trying DIY PR or should you be investing in the expertise of a PR agency?  It may sound easy but then think of the massive PR mishaps that big corporations have. Even Mc Donalds, Proctor and Gamble and Perrier have underestimated the importance of PR.

Maybe PR is misunderstood and needs to fight its corner more.. Join us as we discuss this over supper in the intimate environment of The Circle Club.
