The UK’s biggest boy band, JLS were the latest celebrity A-listers to party in style at the legendary Circle Club this weekend.

Aston, Marvin, Ortisé and JB, made sure the exclusive 24-hour licensed private member’s club in the heart of the city centre was on their itinerary when they visited Manchester.

They partied in style at Chocolate Factory, one of the many club nights hosted by the iconic venue which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

The boys’ visit follows hot on the heels of other celebs who have made it a night to remember at the infamous basement venue’s VIP Inner Circle.

In the last few weeks alone, Take That’s Jason Orange and a host of other celebs from TOWIE’s Mario Falcone to Big Brother’s Louise Cliffe as well as footballing giants Joe Hart and Micha Richards have been spotted at the Circle Club.

They have partied until the early hours with soap stars from Coronation Street and Hollyoaks as well as Manchester’s beautiful people.

“It’s great that 10 years on, we are still the A-listers destination when they are in town,” said Craig Ince, Managing Director.

Now the club is set for the party of the decade this New Year’s Eve to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Themed the 12 Olympiads by the infamous MYTH, the exclusive private member’s club, will be pulling out all the stops to create a clubbers’ delight starting with a six course feast, free bar, decadent entertainment and the best in live music and DJs, with tickets released this week.

Using all of its three venues including the Sirocco Bar Restaurant, Original Circle and VIP Inner Circle, as well as transforming the arcade’s stunning glass atrium, it will be the party of the year.

“It’s our 10th anniversary this year so New Year’s Eve will be even more special. It will be the party of the year, if not the decade and tickets will sell out fast,” added Craig.

Tickets are from £25 for members in the main club (£30 for guests) and £45 for members in the Inner Circle (£50 guests). Booths* are from £750 in the main club and £1,000 in the Inner Circle.

Diners can also enjoy a sumptuous six course New Year’s Eve dinner at Sirocco for £60 and pay just £10 extra to join in the club night.

Manchester’s party people are set for the party of the decade this New Year’s Eve as the legendary Circle Club celebrates its 10th anniversary and brings in the new year in ultimate style.

Themed the 12 Olympiads by the infamous MYTH, the exclusive private member’s club, will be pulling out all the stops to create a clubbers’ delight starting with a six course feast, free bar, decadent entertainment and the best in live music and DJs, with tickets released this week.

The 24-hour licensed club based in the grade ll listed Barton Arcade is a favourite haunt of celebrities and in the last month alone everyone from Take That’s Jason Orange to footballing giants Joe Hart and Micha Richards to Big Brother’s Louise Cliffe, TOWIE’s Mario Falcone as well Coronation Street and Hollyoak stars, have partied at the stunning destination.

Using all of its three venues including the Sirocco Bar Restaurant, Original Circle and VIP Inner Circle,as well as transforming the arcade’s stunning glass atrium, it will be the party of the year.

“It’s our 10th anniversary this year so New Year’s Eve will be even more special. It will be the party of the year, if not the decade and tickets will sell out fast,” said Managing Director Craig Ince.

The iconic venue has seen the famous and infamous through its doors in the last decade and has trebled in size since it was first launched in 2001, catering then exclusively for the city’s media and creative elite.

The idea of the Circle was to launch a venue unlike any other in the North West, offering a haven for cultural debates, creative meetings and the best parties in town, in the original atmospheric crowded basement location.

And everyone from Jordan to Danny Dyer, Westlife to Usain Bolt has partied at the legendary Circle, with Justin Timberlake famously turned away as not cool enough.

10-years on, the club has bucked the leisure industry recession and grown from strength to strength, opening its membership to all as long as they can meet strict club criteria.

In 2008, it doubled in size with the launch of the Inner Circle, expanding out from the original basement and creating a stunning room themed on the seven-deadly sins.

With private booths, a bar created from an altar and doors taken from Clarkenwell prison, it is the destination for the great and the good of the city.

And in 2009, the Circle came up from underground, launching a bar restaurant above the basement club, creating a stylish eatery, now known as Sirocco.

The chic bar restaurant makes the most of the stunning glass atrium of the arcade and is the perfect chill out zone for a mouth-watering Mediterranean menu.

The Circle brand expanded even further this year, opening a champagne and cocktail bar in the Trafford Centre.

The 45-seat white marble bar takes pride of place in the Italian Galleries on the first floor of the Orient food court and opened this Summer.

Called Circle 360 it has an extensive 50-strong cocktail menu, including both classic and contemporary drinks and serves 21 champagnes ranging from £40 (Moet and Chandon) to £550 (Armand De Brignac Ace of Spades).

“It has been a fantastic decade of success for the Circle Club and one that we will be celebrating in true Circle style with the party of the decade this New Year’s Eve,” said Craig Ince Managing Director.

Called ‘360’ because it is an open bar, perfect for people spotting, giving a view of the whole Orient, it is the ideal place for busy shoppers to stop for an affordable treat, from morning coffee to bubbly and oysters.

Prices start from just £3.25 for a glass of Prosecco, £4.50 for a cocktail and £4.95 for a glass of champagne. There’s also a superb choice of teas and coffees as well as soft drinks and savoury platters.

And as a special celebration in opening week, customers can enjoy a glass of bubbly and a delicious lollicake for just £5.

“We will be specialising in mouth-watering desserts including an exclusive range from Lollicakes, making it the ideal venue for people to unwind, enjoy a glass of fizz and tuck into some sumptuous sweets, “said Craig Ince, Managing Director of the Circle Club.

“We’re now working with a local supplier on an organic champagne ice-cream that we’re just putting the finishing touches to it hopefully in time for opening week and we will be launching a sushi menu in the next month or so.”

Manchester’s exclusive 24-hour private member’s club, The Circle Club, announced it was expanding its empire with the launch of Circle 360 earlier this month.

The white marble bar, designed by award-winning Paul Astill, will take pride of place in the Italian Galleries on the first floor of the Orient food court.

The 50-strong cocktail menu, includes both classic and contemporary drinks priced from £4.50 and it will serve 21 champagnes with bottles from £40 (Moet and Chandon) to £550 (Armand De Brignac Ace of Spades), with glasses starting from £4.95.

Open from noon to midnight throughout the week, it will also serve cocktail snacks as well mouth-watering and lovingly made ice-creams, sorbets, cakes and sweets.

Gordon McKinnon, Director of Operations at The Trafford Centre, said: “We are delighted to have secured such an exciting new concept for our customers, and we couldn’t think of a more appropriate fit for the kind of customer we attract.”

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Circle Club expanded its original basement club to launch the VIP Inner Circle in 2008 and the Kitchen bar restaurant in 2009. It is a regular haunt of celebrities, including footballers, soap and movie stars.

Circle 360 is its latest venture and already they are looking for other similar venues to expand the concept.

“It’s a very exciting development for us and the icing on the cake in our 10th anniversary year” said Craig Ince.

In fact one of our first customers was John Whittaker who was so taken with the bar he observed how he could see the potential for the concept at other sites ”
